Since 2017, the International Wine and Gastronomy Festival WineRi has been building Kvarner’s position as one of the most important wine and gastronomy destinations in the Mediterranean. The festival brings together more than 100 exhibitors from 8 countries each year, and over the years has developed into an indispensable platform for the promotion of wine in the pre-season – precisely at the moment when the offer for the demanding wine and gastronomy market of Kvarner is being shaped.

WineRi celebrates the Mediterranean way of life in its most beautiful form – the culture of wine, the shared table, meeting and enjoyment – ​​but at the same time functions as a powerful marketing tool for winemakers’ market presence. The year 2026 brings a new page in the festival’s history: Kvarner holds the title of European Region of Gastronomy in that year, and the festival therefore performs under the extended name Kvarner International Wine Festival – WineRi, further emphasizing its international role and strategic contribution to the development of the destination.

In addition to tastings and exhibitors, a series of expert workshops and masterclasses take place in the Wine&Co wine shop, which give the festival a strong educational and professional dimension.
