The 25th Osijek Summer of Culture (OLJK) returns with a rich program of concerts, exhibitions, theatre performances, films, and literature – bringing together creatives from Croatia and abroad.
From June 29 to August 30, the city will come alive with culture in its squares, streets, and galleries.
🎼 Grand Opening

📅 Sunday, June 29 at 9:00 PM
The festival opens with a gala concert by the world-renowned Chamber Orchestra Cameristi della Scala (Milan), joined by soprano Giulia Bolcato and clarinetist Fabrizio Meloni. The program “From Rossini to Puccini” will feature iconic opera arias from Traviata, Carmen, Rigoletto, and Turandot.
🎭 A Premiere Six Decades in the Making

A historic co-production between Osijek’s National Theatre, Branko Mihaljević Children’s Theatre, and the Academy of Arts and Culture presents the long-awaited play “The Dragon”, directed by Dražen Ferenčina.

The OLJK program features:

The festival closes with a spectacular performance of Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana” featuring Etoile ballet ensemble, Ivan Goran Kovačić Academic Choir, Sudar Percussion, renowned soloists, and conductor Ivan Šćepanović.
